UPI is a truly international photographic organisation – with UPI inspired and managed BY photographers and managed FOR photographers. The Governing board is currently represented by 7 internationally renowned photographers from 6 countries with members from 4 continents.Every section of photography is encouraged by UPI and equally valued. By this we mean that all the aspects of photography can be found within UPI and based on comradeship and mutual respect by all.

The decease of my dearest wife Nicole BILLIAU had taken everybody by surprise …everybody was astonished at this and shocked …

A year long she defied with great courage and without complain her illness , but finally she loosed the fight …

Always we were together and we did always everything together , even our hobby : “Photography” , which brought us much pleasure and more than that : a lot of acquaintances  and many , many GOOD  FRIENDS …

It’s very heart-warming in the period your “soul mate” is taken away from you and you stay alone , you receive so many condolences and wishes to have much courage …

Nicole will stay not only in my heart , but I am sure also in the heart of all who know her and we will remember her as a “ bright , friendly , frank , sincere and active person , who promotes the photography and specially the Friendship ….

Along here I thank everybody for their sincere condolences and their deepest sympathy …
