UPI United Photographers International

 During the Photo Festival,(on Saturday  June 25, 2011 at Praetorian Palace in Figline Valdarno) a UPI General meeting was held. 29 members were present. During the General meeting there was:

- a presentation of the finance status of UPI by the Treasurer Laheye Freddy

- a presentation of past activities and coming activities by the President Metzakis Manolis

- updating on the relationship and past travel in China by the Vice-President  Billiau Nicole

- briefing on the status of members and the status and changes on the website by the  

  Secretary General Nikiforakis Polichronis

- briefing on the distinctions of UPI by Calosi Claudio,

- briefing on the results of the 1 International UPI Photo Competition by Law John

- briefing on the UPI License in International Competitions  by Law John

- discussion on problems and suggestion on improving the function and the communication between members and representatives.

- election of Milovanović Maksimović Marija in the Governing Board in the place of Casey Sean. Ms Milovanović Maksimović was elected with 72 yes against 12 no.
