UPI United Photographers International

 The 1^st UPI Photo Festival was held from 19 until 26 of June in Tuscany, Italy. A lot of effort was made from the Governing Board, to organize an excellent week, with nice opportunities for photo shooting but also for getting to know each other better. This effort could not been done without the volunteer help of our organizer and member of our organization, Mr. Silvano Monchi. Mr Monchi organized an excellent week, with visits in different cities (Rome, Pisa, Florence, Sienna) and villages around Tuscany. The accommodation was very nice and all the participants got the most from this week. The Governing Board wanted to express the appreciation of all UPI members, awarded Mr Monchi a commemorative plaque for all his efforts in organizing the 1^st UPI Photofestival. On Saturday we all visit three very important photographic exhibitions in Figline Valdarno. One with photo of Mr Huang Kehua from China, one with photos from photographers  from Aman  and another one with photos from members of the local photo club. We all promised to meet again in the next UPI’s Photo Festival.
